Lloyd Embley To Speak At Society of Editors Conference 

Lloyd Embley, group editor-in-chief of the Mirror titles, will deliver a keynote address at the Society of Editors conference in November, joining Paul Dacre and Katharine Viner as speakers at the event.

Mr Embley, group editor since 2014, will address delegetaes at the Manchester conference heads on 5 November.

As Group Editor-in-Chief, Lloyd has overall editorial responsibility for all of the Reach titles. He became Editor of the Sunday People in 2008, and then editor of the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror in 2012, before being appointed to editor-in-chief later that year.

Mr Embley joins Daily Mail editor Mr Dacre who will give the Society of Editors annual lecture to launch the conference, while The Guardian editor-in-chief Ms Viner will deliver a keynote speech the following day.

The Society of Editors Conference, themed ‘The Trust Factor – And How to Fund It’, takes place at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester over 4 and 5 November.

The conference will start with the President’s Reception and Society Lecture followed by an evening networking buffet on 4 November with the full-day conference following the next day.
