Trinity Mirror Digital Audience Up by a Third in Three Months

Trinity Mirror’s digital audience has grown by a third in just three months, according to a trading update this week.

The publisher said that average monthly unique users and page views growing by 31 per cent over the third quarter, the 13 weeks to 27 September.

Publishing digital revenue grew by 24 per cent over the same period with publishing digital display advertising revenue growing by 33 per cent.

Page views grew by 48 per cent in the third period, the publisher added.

Trinity Mirror also noted a slowing in the decline of overall revenues on the previous quarter.

The statement added: “The Board continues to expect performance for the year to be in line with expectations.”

“We continue to make good progress against our strategic initiatives and the business continues to deliver strong cash flows and remains on track to deliver structural cost savings of £20 million for the year.”Trinity Mirror
